It's A Very Special Day!

Good Morning and Happy TGIF!

It's a very special day here at our house.  On this day, twenty years ago, God blessed us with the most beautiful baby girl...on Labor Day actually!  Little did we know that day what a wonderful gift and a sweet blessing she would turn out to be.  Here she is the day we brought her home in her gorgeous, yellow dress that was a gift at the hospital from her Dad.

If I had to pick a phrase that defines who and what she is I would have to say it's "Pure Joy".  Every day she says "Today is the BEST day EVER!".  It doesn't matter if we are at Disney World or if we go to Arby's and the bookstore.  If only we could all be that grateful for simply the gift of a day.  She is not defined by autism.  She will tell anyone who will listen...."I'm autistic and that means that God made me special".  Mike and I feel so incredibly blessed that God chose US to be her parents.

Happy 20th Birthday my sweet Lindsay Girl!  We love you and wish you the most magical birthday EVER.

Now for today's project....
Since the Holiday Mini came out yesterday I thought I'd share a project made with one of my favorite new products you'll find in it.  Take a look....

I love the new Stocking Die for the Big Shot!!  I actually used it and made this Gift Card Holder by just folding the card stock when I ran it through.  So simple!'s the inside....

How cool is that?  Such a great way to give a gift that ALWAYS fits at Christmas.
Perfect for teacher's, co-workers, friends....or anyone.

The card stock is Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.  I used the Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper as the accent pieces and then stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink.  One thing I love about SU! is they make things so simple by having the colors of all their products coordinate perfectly.

It's a fabulous collection of new goodies.

Wishing you a magical day!
