I'll be the first to admit it....I LOVE school supplies! I just do!
I love all the colors and gadgets...new, funky notebooks...pencils that have never been sharpened....ahhhh....
I love it all. I went into Staples yesterday to get ink for my printer and I seriously had to put blinders on!
I could have shopped til I dropped!
The project I created today is all about the possibilities that are just waiting out there with the brand new school year ahead. Just "Imagine the Possibilities"!
The card is cut with the Square Scallop die on the Big Shot out of Cherry Cobbler card stock. I added layers of Basic Black and Whisper White. The image is from "Greeting Card Kids" and is stamped in Black Staz-On ink. The edges are sponged with Crumb Cake ink and then I spritzed it with a little Cherry Cobbler using the marker and my Color Spritzer Tool.
The pencils are in a thin cello bag (coming out in the Holiday Mini! Woot!!) and the topper is made using Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White card stock. The "Imagine" stamp is from the "Word Play" stamp set. I added some of the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and a Vintage Brad to both pieces to add a finishing touch.
It is such a quick and easy little project to make and would be great to give your child or maybe their new teacher to start out their school year with a smile.
I have a favorite quote from Walt Disney that I love...he said, "If you can dream it...you can do it". So today...just "Imagine the Possibilities".
