Friday Frame Up...

Happy TGIF!  I can't believe how fast this week has flown by!  Wow!  I don't think the weeks that we are in school move HALF this quickly.  I'm looking forward to the weekend...just spending time with Mike and the kids.  Mike and Zach are planning to get the deck done. *fingers crossed*  I'm hoping the rain stays away so they can do what they need to do.

Today I'm posting a new project that I'm kind of excited about.  I've been wanting to try out this technique ever since I got back from Convention.  I actually went out and bought the frame right after we got home.  I hadn't decided exactly what I wanted to use to do it but.....  Well let me show it to you and then I'll explain.

The photo is one of my faves.  It was taken on our "date night" last year at Disney.  My cousin, Heather, gave us a "date night" as a gift along with front row tickets to Cirque du Soleil at Disney's West Side.  We went to dinner at Paradiso 37 and had a fabulous time.  We will always remember that special night.
The circles are called "Lollies" or "Yo Yo's"... They are made from Designer Series Paper and really easy (and addictive) to make.  You can make them any size you'd like and you can also embellish them in many, many ways.  It's funny when I look at it now and think, "Wow!  That was just a $6.00 frame from WalMart and NOW look at it!"  The best part is that you can get several Lollies out of one sheet of Designer Series Paper AND even's double sided with two different designs for lots of different combinations.  Woot!

So here's the supply list:

Designer Series Paper: 122367 "Paisley Petals"
