Perfectly Punchy Christmas

Happy Saturday All!

I've been getting ready for my stampin' girls to arrive this afternoon and all the while I can hear a cold, blustery wind blowing outside.  Whew!  I'm glad we'll be snug inside where it's toasty warm, listening to Christmas tunes and stamping!  I thought I'd share one of the cards we'll be making today.  It's a fun and whimsical Christmas card made with a little "punch art"...

Isn't he fun??  I love punch art!  This fun, little guy was made using the Owl Builder Punch and some Soft Suede card stock for the head and Basic Black and Whisper White card stock for the eyes.  Then I used the Snowflake Punch and some Sahara Sand card stock for the antlers.  I, of course, thought he needed a shiny, red nose so I added a red Glimmer Brad.  The wreath was made using Gumball Green card stock and the Scallop Circles Die for the Big Shot.  Once it was cut out I embossed it with the Petals-a-Plenty Folder and then punched out the center with one of my Circle Punches.

The edges of the wreath are sponged as well as the reindeer's head just to give it a little dimension.
The card base was made using Very Vanilla card stock and the Scallop Square Die for the Big Shot.  I layered a piece of Gumball Green and a smaller layer of the Red and Vanilla Chevron print from the Festival of Prints Designer Paper Stack.  I LOVE that pack of paper!  There are so many great prints and they are the perfect way to add life to your projects.  To finish it off, I added a bow on the bottom of the wreath.

Then.....VOILA!!

It's an Easel Card!  SO fun!
I hope the girls like their projects today.  I'll be back to share the other cards soon so stay tuned.

Wishing you a happy and relaxing Saturday!
