A Little Vintage Fan Fair

WoooHOOOO!!  Happy TGIF!

I'm not sure where we're going to end up today but as we always say...."Adventure is out there!". Mike took today off and we're going to find something fun to do.  No pressure but Lindsay is already tapping her toe with that "Well??" look on her face!  *sweatdrop*

So before I head out on our adventure I thought I'd share a fun project with you.  This one is a little different than what I've been working on.  I really love so many of the new Designer Series Paper Packs in the catalog and I'm amazed at all the versatile patterns and themes.  Here's a peek at the set I made with the New "Fan Fair" DSP.....

The bag is a fun design I came up with to show off the awesome paper from the new catalog.  It's a really simple piece to put together.  I'll post directions on how to make them soon. They are the perfect size to hold a small gift or maybe even some baked goodies.  Yum!

Now the reason I said that this is "different" is because.....well.....how many stamps did I use?  Just two!  Now call me crazy but I think this 3D gift bag and enclosure card have a pretty rich, vintage feel to it for something with just one stamped image on each.  How is that possible?  Well, it's the awesome DSP!  Fan Fair has such great images on all the double sided, 12x12 sheets.  See the collage of cool cut outs on the bag?  Those are all on one of the sheets with several more designs.  I just cut or punched them out and adhered them to the bag I made. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the new "You're Amazing" stamp set and the "Especially for You" is from the "Made for You" set.

See the cute, vintage typewriter/grid piece on the card?  Yep, that's on of the cut outs too!  I just stamped the "Especially for You" on it and layered it on card stock.  Woot!  How easy is THAT?  I really love those buttons too.  Those are from the new Naturals Designer Button Pack.  You can dress them up....or dress them down.  I used a little Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine in them to keep with the overall feel of the project and then adhered them with Glue Dots.

Here are all of the images included in the two stamp sets I used.....

"You're Amazing"

"Made For You"

Alrighty....I'm off to find out what our adventure will be for today.  I hope you have a restful and fun weekend and whatever you do....enjoy being with the ones you love.

Stamped Blessings,
