Blog Candy Palooza!

Helloooooooooo!

I know....Did you think I'd been abducted by aliens??  LOL!  It's been C R A Z Y!  I know I posted about being asked by Stampin' Up! to be a Display Demonstrator for this year's annual Convention in Salt Lake City but lemme just tell ya.....WOOOO- EEEE!  What a LOT of work it's been.  I was tasked with creating 24 original projects with new products and they had to be completed by this past week and will be shipped tomorrow.  *Praise Jesus and pass the cake!!*  I had to sign a confidentiality agreement so I'm no allowed to post photos of my projects but let me just tell you that ONE of the 24 beauties took over 40 HOURS to create.  No kidding!  I've put in several 16 hour days and it's been pretty much all consuming.  I've LOVED it and I can't wait for Convention.  I'll be flying out on July 18th and I am thrilled that I'll be able to see all of my friends and maybe even some of YOU!

I can't believe that will happen in just 18 short days!  I still have lots to get done.  I have so many projects and specials to share with you, my blogging family.  I've got some great goodies in store!  First though....  I didn't post when it happened but let me just tell you that something pretty amazing happened and I'm going to celebrate it HERE with a BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY today!!

Last July I attended Convention and I was SO inspired and I came home just on fire and ready to SHARE WHAT I LOVE.  Stampin' Up! has given me so many new ways to create and I absolutely feel blessed beyond measure.  Don't misunderstand....  I am blessed first and foremost by the gift of creativity that the Lord has bestowed upon me.  I will never lose sight of that.  But I do know that he has also led me to the most amazing company to help me be able to share that gift with so many more people than I ever dreamed of.  Before last July I seriously thought my mom was the ONLY one who read my blog.  I know I've said it before but I honestly did!!  When I got back from Convention I started to share more and more here and my blogging family began to grow.

The number of "Blog Visits" last July when I got back from Salt Lake City was right around 7,000 visits.  As of today...just one short year later.....the "Blog Visit Counter" is reading "102,248"!!!!!!  O   M   G!!!!  That absolutely blows my mind!!  I know my mom loves her iPad and staying in touch but even SHE can't visit THAT often!  LOL   I was blessed back in January when I traveled to San Antonio to SU! Leadership Conference to have fellow demonstrators come up to me to say "Hello" because they recognized me from my blog.  That was just mind boggling!!  You all just don't know how much your support, kind words and prayers mean to me.

As a way of thanking you, I want to post this BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY

  1. You know my Mom had so much green in her house when I was growing up, that I really don't like the color green, but when I saw the "Gumball Green" in card stock, I was starting to create cards with this color green.
My favorite Designer series paper is "Be of Good Cheer", whenever I look at the designer paper, my eyes always go to that paper 1st and it always makes me feel happy/cheerful when I look at it. (I think I should remember that when my husband pushes my buttons and I want to blow my cool at him!)
2 of my favorite embossing folders are:
Framed Tulips Folder, I love this folder, as it doesn't matter what season or festivity you are in, you can always make the card look elegant and precious!
My 2nd favorite folder if perfect Polka Dots, it is such a splendid folder to make any card you are creating to have a depth or character, making the card stand out when you are looking at it.

My favorite DP is summer smooches just because it is so cheery and gives you a happy feeling when you look at it. My 2 favorite emb folders are perfect polka dots (cuz I love polka dots) and framed tulip because it just adds a neat touch to any card!!. So happy for you and wow to make that many original projects!!!

  3. I like all the new In-Colors, but if I had to choose, it would have to be Raspberry Ripple... Not sure why, but my eyes are just drawn to it... My favorite DSP has got to be Polka Dot Parade... It has Disney written all over it!!! =) And for embossing folders, it would be Vintage Wallpaper and Fancy Fan... I love both their patterns and think they are very versatile... Congrats on 102,248+ blog visits and have fun in Salt Lake City!!! They're going to love your boards!!! Nancy P...

  8. My favorite new in color is Primrose Petals. Reminds me of the trim on the cute summer outfit my daughter wore for her 1 yr old photo. Such a deep pink, I love it!
My favorite new DSP has got to be the new Specialty DSP "Natural Composition Specialty paper. I love the glossy, raised patterns that are printed on the heavier weight paper. AWESOME!
OK, it's hard to only pick two, but here goes: The fancy Fan Folder actually has several looks; it looks different front to back, upside down & left to right! How amazing is that? totally different looks! I also love the new Chevron Folder, cause it also looks like tire tracks when used with a car or truck or motorcycle! Great for those hard to make masculine cards!

  10. It's soooo cool how your blog is growing and touching lives in the stamping community and beyond. :)
My favorite new In-Color is Midnight Muse- it reminds me of a summer sky as the last of the light is fading, so rich and velvety. My new favorite DSP is International Bazaar- I've always loved things with that type of feel and the colors and patterns will be great for Masculine cards as well as everyday and feminine cards. My 2 fav embossing folders are the lattice, because you can make awesome masculine cards with it but it's also great for embedded embossing and the Perfect Polka Dots is just so sweet when you need either a feminine touch or just a subtle something-something. Thanks for a great give-away and i hope your blog doubles this next year!
