Penguin Love...

Hello my friends!

It's been a rainy, rainy Sunday and we've gotten SO much done.  I actually feel like it was quite a productive weekend.  Whew!  I just came down to my Stampin' Space to work on some new designs that are rattling around in my head.  I want to share a cute, little wedding gift card holder I made for a friend of mine with you.
She asked if I could make two of them using my punch art penguins.  Oh boy! Could I??  Here's what I came up with....

I'm really happy with the way it turned out.  I LOVE using the Pool Party color scheme and I think it worked perfectly with the theme.  Here's a closer look...

I was really excited to see how the Delicate Doilies Designer Series Paper looked once I had embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  Doesn't it just "POP"?  So cool!  Here's a look at the inside...

This is such an easy way to include a gift card.  I simply used a piece of card stock and scored it to fit the gift card dimensions.  I then popped up the "Congratulations" sentiment stamp with Stampin' Dimensionals and have it placed so that the flap of the "envelope" is held in place.  Fun, huh?

I stamped the inside of the card and the matching envelope using the coordinating "Delicate Doilies" stamp set and Pool Party ink.  It's so soft and just really lovely.

Don't forget that you can check out the newly released "Retired Stamp Sets" list at my ONLINE Stampin' Up! Shop.  Just CLICK HERE and you'll go straight there.  There are also lots of goodies still available on the "Clearance Rack" there too.  Stop by.....you'll be glad you did.  :-)

Wishing you a wonderfully magical day!

  3. SUPER cute!! You don't happen to have a tutorial/recipe for how you make your penguins, do you? I googled penguin punch art and came up with other styles, but yours are TOO cute, esp for this particular card, and not like the others! :) (Even if it ain't free, I'll take it :))
