I had a fantastic day yesterday with a huge group of awesome scrapbookers and stampers. I was asked to be one of the vendors at an all day scrapbook crop. This was the second year I've participated and it is such a great event. I designed a Make and Take for all those who participated and I had such a great time teaching the girls how to put theirs together. Here's what they got to make....It's a "2-4-6-8" Valentine Box.
These are definitely an "oldie but a goodie". It's such a simple idea but you can take it and make it as simple or as elaborate as you'd like. This one is made from Poppy Parade Card Stock. Before I cut and scored my card stock I stamped images from the P.S. I Love You stamp set all over the page. I love that stamp set! It's just so stinkin' cute! Once that was done I was ready to create my box.
The piece was cut at 8 1/2" x 7". With the 8 1/2" side along the top, score at 2", 4", 6" and 8". That will leave the last section on the end measuring 1/2". Then you'll rotate your card stock and score at 2". Please check out the template below for more instructions....
Ok...Clear as mud? :-) Just email me if you have any questions. I'd be happy to help.
I filled mine with Hershey's Kisses but the possibilities are endless. You can make something small seem like a much "grander" gift by putting it in one of these. Remember....it's all in the presentation.
I know I've shown it before but....here are the images from the P.S. I Love You stamp set just in case you're curious. I like it because some of these images are ones I can use throughout the year and not just for Valentine's Day. It's not to late to get yours! You can order yours at my Online Stampin' Up! Store 24/7....no lines...no waiting. Just click HERE and click on "Shop Now".
Alrighty....I'm off to get things organized for our week ahead. So much going on this week! For those of you who are coming to Tuesday's "Be Mine" Valentine Stamp Camp....I can't wait to show you what we'll be creating!
Wishing you a very Happy Super Bowl Sunday...and, of course, a magical day!
