Meet Magnolia....

Happy Saturday!

Ok...the rain is definitely outta here and it's now a gorgeous day here in Virginia!  I'm sitting here with the windows open enjoying the cool breeze.  Ahhhhhh....heavenly.

I was so excited when I got home from work yesterday and my Stampin' Up! order had arrived.  SO many cool, new things to play with!!  I went downstairs this morning and put it all away and then sat down to see what I could come up with.  I am really please with the two projects I made....one of them I'm sharing today....
The other one....you can see very soon.  :-)

I had so much fun a couple of weeks ago when I made a little card with my puppy friend, Bruce.  Well....I thought he could use a sweet little girlfriend so today I made him one....

Meet "Magnolia".... (Lindsay named her!)

Isn't she the sweetest thing??  Magnolia is punched from the same circle punches I used for Bruce.  Her head and snout are made using the 1 1/4" circle punch, her body is made with the 1 3/8" circle punch, her feet are made with the 3/4" circle punch and her floppy ears are made with the word window punch.  SO fast to make...no lie!  I made her out of Whisper White card stock and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  Her ears are punched from Crumb Cake and her bow and matching collar are Pretty in Pink.  The Designer Series Paper on the front of the Z-Fold is from the "Beau Chateau" DSP pack.  I sponged the edges of it with Crumb Cake to give it a little dimension.  Since Magnolia is dressed to impress...I added a little bling to her bow and gave her a bling studded collar.

The card base is Crumb Cake with the Very Vanilla insert embossed with the Tulip Border Embossing Folder and then stamped with the "With Love" stamp from the new Hand Penned Holiday stamp set available now from the Holiday Minit.  LOVE it!  Here's a peek at all the images in that set...

Wood Mount - 124310         Clear Mount - 124312
Isn't it gorgeous??  If you'd like to have your very own set, go to my Online Store.  You can shop to your heart's content and everything will be delivered right to you door.  Woot!

Well...I'm off on a little family outing with Mike and the kids so we can enjoy this gorgeous day.  I will be back in my stampin' room soon though so stay tuned for more new projects!

Wishing you a magical day!
