Batty Boo For You....

Happy Wednesday!  Man, oh man was I  pooped last night!  Whew!  The good news is that we all had a great first day at school/work.  Yay!  I actually went down to the stamp room for a bit last night to see what I could come up with....and here's what I made....

It's the "Batty Boo Box"!  It's the perfect little holder for a "sweet" gift like a cupcake or maybe a bag of treats.  I will be working on a tutorial soon...once I'm energized again.  LOL  No...I promise...I'll do it soon for those of you who would like the measurements.

Here's a close up of "Felix"....the bat.  Hey! Everybody needs a name!  Even a bat.  :-)

You wanna know the coolest part about Felix the Bat??  He was made using the Owl Builder Punch!
Get outta town!!  I know!  Cool, huh??  Here's what the punch looks like....

118074 Owl Builder Punch

The bat body is the "owl" piece and the bat wings are 2 ea. of the "vest" pieces adhered to the back.  The branches are....well, the "branch" pieces from the Bird Builder Punch.  :0)  How cute is THAT?  I used a white gel pen to make his mouth and toothy smile.  Oh!  Then I sponged white craft ink around the parts
of Felix's body to make it look a little more 3D.
The "Boo" stamp is from the "Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Set" and the "Sweet Treats" sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.   The window in the front of the box is punched using the Large Scallop Punch.  It's tied at the top with 1 1/4" Black/White Grossgrain ribbon.  (LOVE that ribbon!)
I used my paper crimper to crumple up a half sheet of Basic Black card stock and then cut it into thin strips to use as filler for my box.

I hope he makes you smile!  If you'd like to check out supplies to make your very own "Batty Boo Boxes", just visit my Online Store
Stay tuned!  I'm going to be offering a
"Halloween Suits Me" Stamp Camp very soon!  I'd love to have you come and stamp with me!

Wishing you a magical day!
