Magical Monday....

Good Morning Peeps!
I hope you had a wonderfully relaxing weekend.  We had a great one.  I spent Saturday at JMU visiting Brittany and helping her get her apartment ready for the other three girls who will move in this week.  We had a fabulous visit and shared lots of laughs.  On Sunday Mike and I took Lindsay and Zach to Georgetown to walk around and just explore.  We love seeing all the cool stores and interesting old buildings.  We even got to do something I've been wanting to do for a LONG time.  We went to Georgetown Cupcakes!  Yep.  It's the one from the TLC Channel's show "DC Cupcakes".  The line wasn't too long and we got six of the most amazing cupcakes we've ever tasted!  I'll be posting pics from our adventure very soon.

Today I'm sharing a project that I think is pretty cool.  I saw an idea like it on Stampin' Connection and fell in love with the idea.  It's a great way to give a gift card to someone special.
Thanks Holly for the awesome idea!

Here's my version....

I wanted to do something bright and cheery and I think this was just the ticket.  The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White.  I used a product I'd never tried before and I love them!  I used the Paper Daisies (119243).  The only come in white so it's easy to make them fit in with any color scheme you're making.  I just sponged them with Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight ink and VOILA....they match!  So easy!.    I added buttons from the Brights Collection (119747) each with a piece of Baker's Twine (124262).  The Whisper White card stock piece is embossed with the oval frame from the new Designer Frames Embossing Folder Set (123130).  The sentiment is from the "A Word For You" stamp set (12058 clear mount).  The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch (117191).

Here's a look at the inside...

How cool is that??  It's such a easy project to make with the Big Shot!
I love the pocket that hold the gift card.
It's a really easy project to make with just a couple of folds and the Big Shot.

I hope you have a wonderful Monday!  Thanks for stopping by!
